The journey begins

A Personal Odyssey, part 1

This long overdue post begins a look at what Ronald Hawkins was referring to as his last road trip.

It was a journey in September 2024 that took him to the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian Museum of American History, the site of the Flight 93 memorial and the home of astronaut John Glenn and his wife. And even more important to him was time spent with special friends in Alexandria, Va.
